Penske Truck Leasing is opening a new 17,000-square-foot facility in Augusta, GA, offering truck rental and leasing for both commercial and consumer trucks. The nine-acre site will service about 40 leasing customers and nearly 400 vehicles will be maintained at the facility, which cost approximately $5.5 million to build.

The new shop features three service bays, an automated truck washing bay, and a two-lane fuel island, and is equipped with many of the latest technological innovations to assist service technicians integrate vehicle diagnostic and repair software, according to Penske.

"We're excited to move into a state-of-the-art facility, which means more advantages for the Augusta market," said John Crockett, Sr. VP - Southeast Region, Penske Truck Leasing. "This will result in increased value for current Penske customers, and allow us to expand our capabilities and our customer base, and that will lead to the hiring of more associates in the future."
