FTR Associates announces details of annual conference

FTR Associates has finalized its agenda for the company’s annual conference, which will focus on the next five years of freight

FTR Associates has finalized its agenda for the company’s annual conference, which will focus on the next five years of freight and be held at the Indianapolis Crowne Plaza Downtown-Union Station Hotel from August 26th to 28th.

The conference, titled ““America’s Freight Transportation Through 2012,” is dedicated to the presentation of macroeconomic data and its impact on the transportation industry, discussing how the current freight environment will affect the short- and long-term outlook of the industry, FTR said.

The first day of the conference will include golf and an attendees reception, with the next two days focusing on presentations on the perspective of shippers, equipment operators, suppliers and analysts on intermodal, railroad, truck, air and water freight, as well as an overall economic outlook.
