Due to a June 1 slide on US-89 east of Great Falls between Belt and the junction of US-87 and US-89, the road has been closed in the area and all traffic is being detoured, according to the Montana DOT

Due to a June 1 slide on US-89 east of Great Falls between Belt and the junction of US-87 and US-89, the road has been closed in the area and all traffic is being detoured, according to the Montana DOT.

Trucks operating under a special permit (including oversize and overweight loads) cannot use the detour and will need to find an alternative route. No date has been given for the reopening of the highway.
