A new trailer resale showroom has opened in Fontana, CA., with more than 300 units in stock and thousands more available throughout California and nationally through the web.
The GE Trailer Sales Showroom, located just off Interstate 10, is the seventh site the company has opened in California and the second in Fontana. The showroom offers pre-owned trailers, most in good to excellent condition, the company said.
“Truckers are struggling as they face higher fuel prices and increased costs from regulatory compliance,” Joe Artuso, CEO of GE’s Trailer Fleet Services, said. “This new trailer sales showroom provides affordable alternatives to help truckers meet customer commitments keep freight moving and improve profitability in these tough economic times for the transportation industry.”
GE is also donating a 53-ft. trailer to the American Red Cross of Orange County to store disaster response supplies.
