Volvo and GMC Truck Center of Carolina has changed its name to “more accurately reflect the full-service truck dealership’s broadened scope of operations.”

The center, now called Advantage Truck Center, offers Volvo, GMC, Isuzu, Hino, Autocar and Xspotter commercial trucks. Service offerings include new and used parts, maintenance and repair service, a collision center, new and used truck sales, traditional and sub-prime financing, full-service leasing, rental and contract maintenance.

“This change comes at an exciting time,” said owner Terry Young. “The transportation community is rebounding. It’s the perfect time for us to more precisely position the company with our customers. …
These latest actions ensure our continued success in an ever-changing environment.”

Advantage is based in Charlotte, NC, with additional locations in Hickory and Rocky Mount.
