A new North American Commercial Truck Outlook Report to be launched later this month by FTR Associates will feature expanded coverage of transportation and logistics issues, the company said.
Topics to be covered include freight segmentation, commodity analysis, modal analysis, truck productivity, capacity utilization and truck unit forecasts.
The report will incorporate information FTR has provided for the past 20 years to ACT Publications’ Commercial Truck Bus and Trailer Industry Outlook, which will be disbanded at the end of the year.
“FTR has the experience in providing and analyzing the required information to develop clear outlooks for the commercial truck industry, and we wanted to be sure that this expertise continued to be available to industry participants after ACT Publications ceases to publish their report at the end of this year,” said Eric Starks, president of FTR Associates.
