The new Phoenix SQL Software provides fuel management software through a browser. The software, from OPW Fuel Management Systems, offers on-demand transaction polling for fuel control systems and tank gauges plus more than 60 reports from which to choose.
Phoenix SQL operates over a server with content delivered through a user’s browser. Using all the features of Windows, it offers an intuitive interface that allows for easy navigation between account, card, and transaction data screens. It also utilizes back-up and restore and terminal emulation. Data collected can be sorted through more than 60 different reports and consolidated from multiple sites with customizable report parameters, the company said.
Microsoft SQL Server Database is used for storing and managing transaction data, and the software includes SQL Service 2005 Express; SQL Server 2005 Standard and Enterprise Editions; and SQL Server 2008 Express, Standard and Enterprise Editions.
Internet Explorer 7 & 8, Mozilla Firefox 3.5 & 3.6 are supported browsers and the software supports multi-user access, centralized card database for multiple sites, and is compatible with multiple operating systems, including Windows XP, 2003 Server, Vista, and Windows 7.
Users can export transactions in Excel, CSV, and XML, as well as create “fuel zones” to limit where fleet cards can be used.
In addition, Phoenix SQL is designed to poll multiple TCP/IP based fuel control systems and tank gauges simultaneously, dramatically reducing data collection times for multiple fuel sites, according to the company. The software is also compatible with Multi-Trucking and R/W Chipkey FCS3000 versions, System2 Standard Card Record, System2 R/W Chipkey, System2 Multi-Trucking, and System2 FleetLINK.
