Iron Planet, an online auction company for used construction and agricultural equipment, will hold its first European online auction on January 28, featuring more than 150 machines including aerial work platforms, backhoes, compactors, dozers, excavators, loaders, skid-steers and trucks.

The auction will feature machines from McCormick & McNaughton of Ireland, Pon CAT Rental of Denmark, Liebherr of the U.K., JLG EMEA and other suppliers from the Netherlands, France, Ireland and Poland, Iron Planet said.

“A key benefit that IronPlanet offers, unlike other auctions, is our guaranteed inspection reports,” said Tom Cornell, managing director of IronPlanet Europe. “These inspection reports, backed by our exclusive IronClad Assurance, ensure that our buyers know the true condition of the equipment and can bid with confidence.”

Inspection reports, which include a visual inspection, ratings and notes, wear-related measurements and oil/fluid samples, can be viewed on Iron Planet’s website. Registered bidders can place bids prior to auction day through IronPlanet’s PriorityBid service, the company said.
