  • Trucking in South Dakota could see a boost in ethanol shipments from plants due to a lack of rail capacity in the area, says the CEO of Glacial Lakes Energy in an interview with Prairie Business.
  • Following a solid third quarter, Cummins Inc. has raised its revenue outlook for North America, says the Wall Street Journal.
  • Recent protests in Atlanta that clogged streets has The Atlantic’s CityLab debating who really owns the streets in America?
  • Ford’s new Transit van has picked up a big honor north of the border. According to PickupTrucks.com, the van has come out on top in the Canadian Truck King Challenge.
  • Truck drivers came to the rescue of lost dogs following pleas for help to get them reunited with their owners, according to Go By Truck Global News.
  • Marquette, MI, has banned trucks over 10,000 lbs. from traveling on local roads unless they have a business reason for being downtown, says UpperMichigansSource.com.
  • Rev LNG plans to open an LNG facility in Ulysses, PA, to produce the fuel for long-haul trucking, says  theDailyreview.com.
  • Land Line reports on a lawsuit against CARB that drew dozens of truck drivers into a California county courtroom to fight its rules on diesel particulate filters.
