Promotions are changing the composition of Celadon Group’s management team, with new faces heading up the trucking conglomerate’s separate divisions.

Effective immediately those changes include:

Prior to joining Celadon in 2012, she worked for the University of Indianapolis as director of communications.
  • Danny Williams will be the new COO for Celadon’s Quality Companies division. He started his career at Celadon in June 2006 as a financial analyst.
  • George Chasteen will assume the role of president of International Business, which includes all operations associated with Jaguar – Celadon’s Mexican subsidiary – and Hyndman, Celadon’s Canadian subsidiary. Prior to joining Celadon in 2011, he worked for Deloitte & Touche as a CPA.
  • Chad Hoffman will become president of Celadon’s Specialized Business. This department represents divisions that primarily focus on non-dry van freight, including: temperature controlled, intermodal, and Taylor Express, Celadon’s bulk transfer business.
  • Nathan Roberts will serve as president of Eagle Logistics Services, a group focused on operating “asset-light” business primarily through the use of owner operators. This departmentalso  includes Eagle Logistics services, flatbed operations, Quality Drivers, and Celadon Recruiting.

All of them will report directly to Eric Meek, Celadon’s executive VP and overall COO, noted Paul Will, Celadon Group’s president and CEO.

“With the addition of these five leaders to our senior management team, we are strengthening our ability to give our customers collaborative solutions that can have an immediate, positive, and measurable impact on their business and provide our partners on the road with the necessary resources to be successful," Will said in a statement.
