Drivewyze
Drivewyze, a Fleetworthy company, expanded its Smart Roadways service with in-cab alerts for those driving through California, Michigan, and Nevada. Twenty states now utilize Smart Roadways services, which extend the reach of state safety and enforcement messaging to commercial truck drivers. Virtual messaging and traffic slowdown alerts are offered to the entire trucking industry free of charge through Drivewyze Free. This allows fleets and drivers—using telematics devices, smartphones, or tablets—to receive in-cab safety alerts and advisories before reaching risky areas on the roadway.
While Drivewyze Free includes access to agency-sponsored real-time traffic slowdown alerts and other alerts and advisories generated in partnership with select state transportation and enforcement agencies, it also offers core message sets, including Drivewyze-sponsored alerts and advisories for high-rollover risk areas, low bridges, and mountain alerts (steep grade ahead; chain-up/brake check stations; and runaway ramps).

EpicVue+ is implemented with self-install or professional options for in-cab equipment designed to sustain the impact of life on the road.
Geotab
Geotab says it is transforming driver safety with its new Predictive Collision Risk for Drivers, available in early 2025 within the Safety Center and Drive App. Using AI and data analytics, the company says this solution predicts and helps prevent collisions by assessing risk, analyzing driver behavior, surroundings, and vehicle safety, providing insights to help reduce a fleet's risk.
By benchmarking data against similar fleets, companies can understand their performance and identify areas for improvement. Predictive collision analytics help foresee and mitigate potential incidents, reducing insurance costs and enhancing safety compliance. Geotab says this tool leverages data from more than 4.5 million connected vehicles, promotes driver engagement, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement, putting safety at the forefront of fleet operations.
Isaac Instruments
Isaac Instruments offers in-cab technology and mobile communications beyond traditional ELDs (electronic logging devices). Isaac’s built-for-trucking platform keeps the wheels turning by cutting out complexity. Communication flows faster and more accurately, so drivers stay on schedule and avoid communication delays. According to the company, the real-time, in-cab Isaac Coach feature helps drivers operate more safely and efficiently. Drivers can also use other approved business apps through Isaac’s Open Platform. Should anything go wrong on the road, Isaac’s remote tablet access allows dispatchers to take control of the tablet, ensuring issues are resolved quickly. In addition, the Isaac Connect smartphone app keeps drivers connected and working more efficiently, even when they’re away from the truck.
Magnus Technologies
The Magnus Driver App is a customizable mobile workflow solution from Magnus Technologies that streamlines driver tasks. The app integrates driver workflows for trip planning, navigation, document capture, pay visibility, exception management, and messaging. Driver-prompted ETAs/PTAs automatically update shipment status.
Drivers can document issues at discovery, such as delays, refused loads, detentions, cargo overage, shorts, and damages, and rate their dispatch experiences. According to the company, MDA's real-time visibility improves customer communication and exception tracking. All information and documents captured, such as photos, signatures, and notes, are automatically time-stamped and geo-tagged.
The app integrates with ELD telematics and transportation management systems, allowing drivers and fleets to monitor hours of service, create accurate delivery records, quickly communicate shipment status, and resolve potential problems before they escalate. MDA’s detailed documentation and real-time communication help drivers and fleets manage exceptions more intelligently and efficiently, improving profitability and customer satisfaction.
