    Norwest Equity Partners has announced the closing of the fourth add-on acquisition for Jacobson Companies Inc, its portfolio company focused on providing third-party logistics services.

    Norwest Equity Partners has announced the closing of the fourth add-on acquisition for Jacobson Companies Inc, its portfolio company focused on providing third-party logistics services. The most recent company to join Jacobson is the Arthur Wells Group, a privately held partnership of trucking, warehousing, and distribution firms primarily focused on the food industry.

    Financing for the transaction was provided by a bank syndicate led by Madison Capital Funding.

    Headquartered in St Louis MO, Arthur Wells' group of companies include Nationwide Logistics Inc, a traffic management company; Arthur Wells Transport Inc, a nationwide trucking company; Warehousing Specialists Inc, a public dry warehouse company; Gateway Refrigerated Warehouses, a public cold storage distribution company; Coldstor LLC, a frozen food distribution center; and Rock City, a public temperature-controlled facility.
