Central Refrigerated Service Inc, formerly Dick Simon Trucking, recently signed a service agreement with Thermo King SVC to help manage its 2,000 reefer units. The agreement is Thermo King SVC's largest service contract to date.
Thermo King SVC provides a central source for reefer unit service needs. SVC programs are serviced through authorized Thermo King dealers throughout North America.
Based in Salt Lake City UT, Central Refrigerated is a temperature-controlled truckload carrier, servicing North America with multiple terminals and drop yards with a fleet of 1,300 tractors and nearly 2,000 trailers.
Ninety-five percent of Central Refrigerated loads are food products, so cargo safety and temperature control are top priorities. Central Refrigerated hauls for high-volume and high-profile customers, and it has a 98% on-time delivery.
