Pilot, Pegasus extend truckstop contract

Pilot Travel Centers LLC and Pegasus TransTech have reached an agreement in which Pilot will continue to offer Pegasus’ Transflo Express truckstop scanning through 2008.

Pilot Travel Centers LLC and Pegasus TransTech have reached an agreement in which Pilot will continue to offer Pegasus' Transflo Express truckstop scanning through 2008. The service will continue to be available at all of Pilot’s 270 travel centers nationwide.

In 2002, Pilot and Pegasus launched Transflo Express as the nation’s first nationwide truckstop scanning service.

Bob Helms, chairman and chief executive officer of Pegasus, said the contract extension marks a milestone in the evolution of technology-enabled business process improvement all the way out to the driver on the road.
