Hyundai Translead has opened a new 161,720-square-foot production line at its Tijuana, Mexico, manufacturing facility.
This $15.5 million dollar expansion includes tooling that will help increase production capacity for vans and domestic containers by 30%.
The company expects to reach full running rate by the end of June 2006. Several hundred jobs will be added as the ramp up is fully implemented.
