TydenBrammall is adding non-preformed cable (NPC) to more versions of its E-Z Loc cargo security seal to make it even tougher. NPC frays wildly when cut, making the cable impossible to reinsert into the lock body. Therefore, a cut cable demonstrates clear evidence of tampering. Besides containers, trucks, and boxcars, E-Z Loc is effective for sealing tanker trucks, hopper cars, and tank cars.

The lock body is constructed of corrosion-resistant zinc casting. The high-tensile strength, galvanized aircraft control cable is available in diameters including 1/16" (1.5 mm), 1/8" (3 mm), and 3/32" (2.5 mm). NPC currently comes in the smallest diameter; larger sizes are planned. A cable length of 12" (30 cm) is standard, and adjustable lengths are customizable. Seals are removed with special cable cutters.

E-Z Loc also offers tracking and inventory capabilities. The seal's serialized lock body can be color-coded, bar-coded, and/or custom laser-engraved. To obtain complete details, contact TydenBrammall, 409 Hoosier Dr, Angola IN 46703.
