KLLM hosted drivers to barbecue at six of its terminals during Driver Appreciation Week, August 19 to 23, 2002. Cooked by managers and served by support staff, the meals were prepared at terminals in Atlanta GA, Bastrop LA, Carlisle PA, Fontana CA, Portage IN, and Richland MS.

“We had company managers for departments throughout the company travel to the terminals and join with local managers and staff to prepare and serve barbecue to our drivers,” said Jack Liles, KLLM president and CEO. “We talked with drivers to learn what they have to say about our operation. The effort during Driver Appreciation Week is just one of the ways we try to show our gratitude for the dedication and hard work our drivers put in every day.”

KLLM provides long haul and regional truckload transportation for service-sensitive customers throughout the 48 contiguous United States, and Mexico. The company has been in business for almost 40 years.
