Valero Energy Corp and The ICEE Co have established an agreement that will permit Valero convenience stores to sell ICEE frozen drink brands.
Some 500 of Valero’s Diamond Shamrock and Stop N Go stores in Phoenix AZ, Houston TX, Dallas TX, and San Antonio TX carry the ICEE brand. Drinks will be sold via self-serve frozen beverage machines. Other locations in Valero’s retail network will be added as its stores undergo remodeling.
A San Antonio-based oil refining and marketing firm, Valero has a retail network of more than 4,500 stores in the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. ICEE is a subsidiary of J&J Snack Foods Corp.
