Clarience Technologies partners with Penn State on data analytics projects
Clarience Technologies, which specializes in transportation safety and visibility solutions, recently partnered with Penn State’s Behrend College in Erie PA to develop an Early Career Professorship program.
Starting in 2021 and throughout the next three years, Clarience will coordinate with a Penn State faculty advisor in guiding four senior design projects concentrating on data analytics. The collaboration with Penn State will both support and be supplemented by the ongoing data analytics efforts conducted by the Road Ready telematics division of Clarience, and will serve to further develop high-performance students in the field.
“We are excited to enter this new phase of partnership with Penn State Behrend,” said Paul Sniegocki, chief technology officer for Clarience. The Early Career Professorship represents the latest development in the longstanding relationship between Clarience Technologies and Penn State Behrend, as the university’s engineering school has worked closely with research and development teams for Truck-Lite, Clarience’s flagship brand, since 2005.
“Our relationship with Clarience Technologies has evolved over the years as technology continues to advance,” said Dr. Timothy Kurzweg, director of the School of Engineering at Behrend. “We’re proud to remain on the cutting edge of innovation with an organization that shares the same commitment.”
