Temperature-controlled packaging company's Minnesota-based corporate office moves from Plymouth to Maple Grove to better serve customers

Peli BioThermal, a global name in temperature-controlled packaging, recently relocated its U.S. headquarters and launched a new website.

The company’s Minnesota-based corporate office moved from Plymouth to Maple Grove.

“COVID-19 vaccines and therapeutics created unprecedented demand for temperature-controlled packaging,” said David Williams, president of Peli BioThermal. “Fast-growing markets like cell and gene therapy will continue to increase demand and the need for product innovation. Our new building will allow us to achieve the capacity we need to grow and evolve alongside our customers.”

Located at 10050 89th Avenue North in Maple Grove’s Red Rock Business Park, the new facility covers more than 100,000 square feet, the company said. The space will include additional production lines and house Peli BioThermal’s 80-plus Minnesota-based employees, with room for future growth.

Earlier this year Peli BioThermal shared its plans to evolve its offerings, including launching an additional portfolio of thermal shippers, rental programs, outsourcing services, and new technology that connects all aspects of the cold chain for its customers. The company said it also will add new service centers to support the expanded offerings, growing its already robust and unmatched global network.

Peli BioThermal’s newly designed website, pelibiothermal.com, offers a wide variety of resources to support the worldwide business of its life sciences customers, the company said.

“As we evolve Peli BioThermal, we also continue to evolve the ways we serve our customers,” said Adam Tetz, director of worldwide marketing at Peli BioThermal. “Our website is our digital front door and one-stop shop for thermal packaging resources. Updates to tools and enhanced usability ensure users can find the information they need to navigate the complexities of cold chain packaging and logistics.”

The new website’s framework aligns with how the company plans to evolve its portfolio of offerings, including supporting customers from drug discovery through distribution of commercial products. Top-level navigation helps customers quickly identify solutions that meet their needs:

  • Products: Outlines product families for single-use and reusable bulk and parcel shippers and also includes an enhanced product configurator tool that offers the best solution based on user-selected temperature range, payload volume and duration requirements.
  • Markets: Offers product solutions based on market segments, as well as insights into the importance of temperature control for each market.
  • Rentals: Highlights key features of the Crēdo™ on Demand and Crēdo™ on Reserve rental programs.
  • Services: Provides insights into off-the-shelf and custom solutions in engineering and design, asset management, thermal testing and consultation, all offered globally with consistent excellence.
  • Resources: Shares information about Peli BioThermal products and services in action, in-depth education on cold chain-related topics and answers to frequently asked questions.
  • About Us: Captures company history and the latest news and events.

In the coming weeks, the website will include translations into six different languages: French, German, Spanish, Chinese, Korean and Japanese.
