Roehl purchases Brock Cold Storage and Trucking ops

Roehl Transport purchased Brock Cold Storage and Trucking recently. The cold storage business will be operated as Roehl Cold Storage, and the trucking operation will become a part of Roehl Transport.

Roehl Transport purchased Brock Cold Storage and Trucking recently. The cold storage business will be operated as Roehl Cold Storage, and the trucking operation will become a part of Roehl Transport. “We recognized the tremendous business and outstanding customer relationships built by the Brock family. We’re excited to enter the cold storage market and continue providing high levels of customer service to the customers that have been working with Brock,” said Rick Roehl, chief executive officer of Roehl Transport.

The cold storage warehouses are in Vesper and Owen WI. The Owen location has 120,000 square feet of storage, and the Vesper warehouse encompasses 38,000 square feet. In addition to expanded service Roehl Transport can offer its customers, Steve Elliott, vice-president of Roehl Logistics, believes this an especially good strategic acquisition. “We see new opportunities and synergies between the warehouse operations, our brokerage, and our logistics services,” said Elliott. Roehl has offered employment to former Brock employees, and Brian Brock will stay on in a managerial role. A truckload and logistics company, Roehl is headquartered in Marshfield WI.
