WDS searched for four years, finally securing the 14-acre site to accommodate the scale of the facility it planned to build.
The building is unique on multiple levels, and represents several design and engineering challenges. WDS wanted a versatile building that is fully convertible and can be used as a freezer or cooler. The building will be able to manage a range of temperatures, from 40 degrees Fahrenheit to –10 degrees Fahrenheit, accommodating everything from meat and produce to frozen foods.
