“As we implement SQF across our various locations, we have come to acutely realize that it is a strong platform to enhance our competencies as well as to drive us toward excellence. This is a direct benefit, not only for food safety, but also operational practices in ensuring customer and regulatory requirements,” said Sripriya Agaram, Henningsen’s food safety manager. “We are all very proud of the Portland facility’s achievement of a 99/100 score and excellent grade. This is a testament to the team’s leadership and drive.”
This certification reinforces Henningsen’s commitment to food safety practices, and emphasizes its eminence in the industry. Colin Longmuir, general manager of the Portland facility, said, “Attaining the SQF level 2 certification is an exciting achievement for our Portland team. There was a lot of hard work from the whole group that went into this accomplishment. We are proud to be recognized for the steps we take to ensure our customer’s products are handled with care and stored in clean, food safe environments.”
