MCL Fresh Inc announces a fresh new brand presence that will include a new company name: 4EARTH Farms.
“4EARTH Farms is much more than a new name,” said David Lake, the company’s chief executive officer and co-founder. “It’s a rich representation of everything we stand for across our entire supply chain. We’re pleased to have a name that reflects our deep commitment to the earth, our growers, our produce—and above all, our customers.”
With the 4EARTH Farms rebranding in place, the labels MCL Fresh, RealSun, 4-Earth, and Real Organics will now be part of one unified brand. All conventional products will carry the 4EARTH label, while organic products will be labeled 4EARTH Organics.
Mark Munger, 4EARTH Farms’ vice-president of sales and marketing, said, “As our company has grown, and as we’ve added more SKUs to both our conventional and organic product lines, we realized we were managing, and marketing, four different sub-brands. Because we’re still growing and adding new products, we felt it was time to simplify and freshen our brand presence.”
4EARTH Farms, founded 21 years ago in Los Angeles CA, is one of the largest vertically integrated conventional, organic, and specialty grower-packer-shippers in the nation. It supplies wholesale, private label, and foodservice produce to retail and wholesale customers worldwide.
The company offers a 99.4% fulfillment rate on produce made up of more than 150 year-round organic SKUs, 250 specialty products, and conventional fruits and vegetables. Its core items are brussels sprouts, sugar snap peas, snow peas, and green beans. 4Earth Farms cultivates more than 2,000 acres in Baja Mexico, mainland Mexico, northern California, central California, Oregon, and Texas, and has direct relationships with growers in Chile, Taiwan, Thailand, China, and South Africa.
