Hirschbach Motor Lines recently earned a SmartWay Excellence award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as an industry leader in freight supply chain environmental performance and energy efficiency.
The award recognizes the top 2% of shippers and truck carriers among more than 4,000 SmartWay Partners.
Brad Pinchuk, Hirschbach owner, and Fred Staugh, chief maintenance officer, accepted the Excellence award during a Sept. 25 event that included keynote remarks from government officials, who touched briefly on the SmartWay program, its goals, and SmartWay accomplishments across North America.
Hirschbach was one of 21 American Trucking Associations members who received SmartWay Excellence Awards.
