Old World Industries’ Final Charge global extended life coolant solves the challenge of maintaining proper inhibitor levels when the vehicle is on the road 98% of the time and controlling what coolant technology is used for top-off is limited. The firm’s PEAK Commercial & Industrial unit is unveiling new Final Charge test strips. These new test strips:

•Measure organic acid

•Are not affected by conventional inhibitors such as silicate, borate, nitrate, molybdate, or phosphate

The process is as easy as obtaining a coolant sample, dipping the test strip in for three seconds, and matching the inhibitor to the color chart provided that guides follow-up maintenance recommendations. Kits are available with and without a refractometer.

PEAK Commercial & Industrial is also offering a one million mile guarantee on Final Charge coolant.

The patented inhibitor system used in Final Charge coolant is formulated with Contamination Tolerant Additives (CTAs) and is fully compatible with all coolant technologies. Conventional coolants require the addition of SCAs approximately every 25,000 miles to replenish depleting inhibitor levels, while Final Charge coolant’s Organic Acid Technology (OAT) formula eliminates the need for Supplemental Coolant Additives (SCA), saving time and money.

However, not all heavy-duty OAT formulas are the same. Developed through evaluation of thousands of possible organic corrosion inhibitor combinations, Final Charge coolant’s unique (NON 2-EH) formula addresses the world’s diverse coolant requirements without using inhibitors that have problems in any nation. With Final Charge, fleet managers and maintenance professionals can inventory one coolant for an entire fleet.
