Pelican Products Inc has announced the rebranding of its global temperature-controlled packaging division, Pelican BioThermal LLC, to take effect October 1, 2014.
The new Pelican BioThermal brand integrates two recently acquired companies, Minnesota Thermal Science (MTS) and Cool Logistics, into an international operation with a broad range of passive temperature-controlled packaging options including a global network of asset management services.
Pelican BioThermal’s full suite of products and services offer longevity, reusability, and sustainability to provide safe transport of pharmaceuticals, tissue, diagnostics/clinical trials, vaccines, and blood supplies. These include:
•Credo Cube, Credo DuraCUBE, and PROMED—reusable thermal cases that protect payload contents at defined temperatures longer
•Credo XTREME—a full and half pallet (durable hard shell) of the Credo Cube that holds 406 and 890 liters and offers the same temperature control duration
•CREDO ProEnvision—Asset management software
•SHERPA—Robust, off-the-shelf, cost-effective, pre-qualified, temperature-controlled packaging solutions
•CHRONOS ADVANCE—Single-use shipping systems with advanced insulation and phase change materials
•COOLPALL—A single-use bulk freight forwarding solution designed as a flat pack, easily assembled product
Tom Anderson, MTS senior vice-president, will head the integrated division and report directly to Lyndon Faulkner.
