CSTK Inc, a distributor of transportation, construction, and communications equipment and related services, was honored as a Development of the Year during the 2015 Mayor’s Business Celebration Luncheon in St Louis MO.

The annual event held by Mayor Francis G Slay and the St Louis Development Corporation (SLDC) awards local businesses for their positive impact on the St Louis metropolitan area. Other award winners include IKEA and Shriners Hospitals for Children.

The new 56,000-square-foot facility replaced the previous St Louis location, which has operated in the region for more than 20 years. Strategically positioned in the heart of local industrial operations, CSTK St Louis offers service and sales for transportation resources including trailer repair, aftermarket parts, and installation. With construction finished in early 2015, the doors officially opened April 1.

Besides serving as the area’s Thermo King dealership, the St Louis branch houses CSTK subsidiary Kahn Truck Equipment. Specializing in custom mechanics and service trucks for heavy equipment dealers, Kahn will host operations within the same building. CSTK St Louis is on Carrie Avenue off of North Broadway at Interstate 70.

In 2014, CSTK appointed Green Street St Louis to design and develop the new building. Green Street is a commercial real estate development company for entrepreneurial-minded businesses.

CSTK continues to expand throughout the company’s territory. On the East Coast, a new facility recently opened in Bethlehem PA. In the Midwest, a remodel of the Oklahoma City facility was recently completed.
