THERMO King’s new on-line dealer locator simplifies the task of finding truck refrigeration dealers and their contact information. It also ties into Thermo King’s Drop Yard Referral System.

Available via mobile app on the web, the applications were announced during the 2014 Mid-America Trucking Show march 26-28 in Louisville, Kentucky.

The new dealer locator has a simplified, easy-to-read display and enhanced functionalities that enable truck drivers and fleet managers to quickly find dealers, their contact information, website, and hours of operation.

The Drop Yard Referral System provides information for safe and secure locations for drop off and pick up of waiting loads and trailers. Facility information ranges from hours of operation to types of security in place.

Thermo King representatives at MATS also discussed the company’s advanced and upgraded portfolio of solar panel solutions. The panels help ensure that batteries will remain charged and undamaged—even during the dead of winter—enabling uptime optimization, extended battery life, and uninterrupted and continuous asset management.

The panels can be used with Thermo King and competitive refrigeration units. The upgraded, more efficient architecture makes it possible to mount the solar panels directly on the refrigeration unit, without sacrificing trailer height or drilling holes in trailer roofs. ♦
