Product design teams from Sears Seating and Mack Trucks have co-developed an exclusive truck seat aimed at reducing driver fatigue and making roadways and job sites safer.

The new contemporary design, unique to Mack Anthem and Granite models, includes longer seat cushions, higher seat backrests and adjustable bolsters, setting a new standard for driver comfort and safety.

“Our work with Mack Trucks speaks to our customer-focused approach and helping them find ways to be more successful with their customers,” said Kent Wichelt, Sears president. “By working with our customer to produce seats that offer operators greater comfort, stability, rigidity and over-all better ride performance, we help Mack put trucks in their customers’ fleets that drivers will want to drive and operate safely.”

Sears Manufacturing Company is a privately held global corporation based in Davenport IA with operations in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. Established in 1855, the company supplies suspension and non-suspension seating for the agriculture, construction and industrial vehicle, and over-the-road markets worldwide.
