Coldtainer now available at 32 locations nationwide

Coldtainer USA, providers of portable containers designed for precise temperature control transportation, recently made its flexible solution for moving perishable goods available at 32 locations nationwide.

“Expanding the number of locations that offer Coldtainers makes the portable refrigerated containers an option for more companies that need temperature control for some portion of their loads,” said Terry Koerner, general manager at Coldtainer USA. “It also allows us to better serve the growing and wider range of clients that don’t need to refrigerate the entire vehicle if they deliver both dry and refrigerated goods, including grocery, prepared meal, vending machine, pharmaceutical and other products.”

Coldtainers can use vehicle battery and AC power sources at facilities. For flexibility, the units have the ability to pre-cool and/or maintain temperature on 110-volt power, then seamlessly move to 12-volt operation when the vehicle is in transit or in use onsite.

“Coldtainers are a great low-cost option for start-up businesses, and due to their ease of installation may be available as rental units for temporary needs,” said David Little, sales manager at Thermo King of Dallas.

“As a business grows, customers can upgrade to larger-size Coldtainer units on bigger vehicles, or if a vehicle is sold, the Coldtainer can be transferred to the new vehicle simply and easily.”
