Polar King Mobile highlights new reefer line

Oct. 16, 2023
PKM freezer and cooler units are constructed with a seamless fiberglass design and come in three standard models.

Polar King Mobile  executives were on hand this year to recruit dealers and show off the new 6’ x 12’ refrigerated trailer, part of PKM line of freezer trailers and cooler trailers.

“The NATDA Trailer Show is North America's premier platform for trailer industry innovation," PKM Executive Vice President Christian Aitken said. “This event presents an incredible opportunity for Polar King Mobile to showcase our pioneering line of small, affordable refrigerated trailer solutions, and we’re excited to share our products and forge meaningful relationships within the industry.

“Our trailers are still in their infancy, and we hope we can continue growing our nationwide network at the best trailer dealer event in the country.”

The PKM units are constructed with a seamless fiberglass design and are available in three standard models, 6’x8’, 6’x12’, and 6’x16’. Each trailer features 54-inch reinforced doors, four-inch walls, a pallet duty floor, and interior antimicrobial gel coating.

The actual cooling of the trailer is achieved using a GOVI arktik 2000US series refrigeration unit. These compact units provide a temperature range of 0°F to 50°F, are all-electric, and require only 110V and 15 amps, according to PKM.

The refrigerated trailers are designed and engineered specifically for outdoor and over-the-road use. PKM’s 100% seamless fiberglass design provides a continuous surface with rounded insulated corners to promote a sanitary environment, PKM notes.
