Whiting Systems, a manufacturer of large-vehicle wash systems, this year is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

Founded in 1974 by Bud and Pat Whiting, the Alexander, Arkansas-based company provides a complete wash program that, for the first 15 years, primarily was for the agricultural and industrial industries. This evolved into providing an autonomous three-bush gantry system, interior trailer wash systems, and several other systems. The company now has provided cleaning equipment for the transportation industry for five decades.

Whiting’s goal is to deliver “innovative and efficient” solutions for cleaning large vehicles, including trucks, buses, and trains.

“No matter what the wash application, our objective has always been to help our customers make a greater profit with their wash-program needs by providing the greatest value relative to wash cost, wash quality and wash time,” Whiting CEO Russ Whiting said in a news release. “We couldn’t have done this without the best equipment, best detergents, and the best [customer service/technology] team in the industry.”

The company says it continues to evolve and adapt to customers’ changing needs, moving from manual wash systems to fully automated, large-vehicle fleet washing solutions, and always endeavoring to stay at the “forefront of technology and innovation.”

“As Whiting Systems prepares to celebrate its 50th anniversary, the company remains committed to providing top-quality products and exceptional customer service,” the company stated. “With a strong focus on continuous improvement, customer service technicians, and staying ahead of industry trends, Whiting Systems is poised for continued success in the years to come.”
