Fleets and trucking industry suppliers are responding to the fires that have raged across much of greater Los Angeles in 2025 with aid and charity. Since Tuesday morning, January 7, when a wildfire was reported in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood, the fires have spread across the area, driving residents from their homes and upending businesses in Southern California, according to news coverage.
According to BBC coverage, three more wildfires broke out in different LA neighborhoods: Auto, Eaton, and Hurst; 25 people are confirmed dead, with 13 more still missing; thousands of homes have been destroyed; and tens of thousands of people are still under evacuation orders.
At the time of this reporting, firefighters are still working to completely contain the Palisades, Eaton, and Hurst fires, and there are concerns about the lack of rain forecasted in LA, strong winds remaining in the forecast, and general air quality.
