USA Logistics Carriers has chosen the SkyBitz Global Location System (GLS) trailer tracking technology for more than 1,500 trailers in the United States, Mexico and Canada.

USA Logistics Carriers, which specializes in serving the maquila manufacturing industry, will replace an existing trailer tracking platform that required the units to be installed inside the trailers.

The SkyBitz GLS 200 units install on the outside of each trailer. They use SkyBitz’s Smart Sensor tracking technology to automatically filter out each trailer’s non-essential starts and stops to report on actionable information such as load arrivals and departure times.
