The FaxEnable line of products from Molex Inc. allows off-the-shelf office equipment to send and receive faxes over digital wireless cellular networks even while a vehicle is in motion. The unit can complete fax transmissions even if the cellular signal is temporarily lost and can be transferred between vehicles within minutes, according to the company.

FaxEnable SRI is powered by a standard 12V power point and includes a 120V AC inverter for use with a typical non-laser fax machine. FaxEnable SRP is a portable version of the same unit housed in a water-resistant case and powered by a rechargeable battery. FaxEnable Hub acts as the decoder for the mobile units and can handle up to four landline connections.
