INDIANAPOLIS. Noregon Systems announced a major update to its PC-based JPRO Fleet Diagnostics software here at the NTEA Work Truck Show. The company said JPRO v5.0 “will continue to provide visibility for on-highway heavy-duty applications of the entire vehicle condition on one easy-to-navigate screen with additional parameters and operational information at the technician’s fingertips.”
Building on the current version of JPRO Fleet Diagnostics software , the new release provides updates of diagnostic capabilities for heavy-duty vehicles through the 2010 model year.
In addition to the existing heavy-duty package, Noregon said that, “beginning spring 2011,” JPRO Fleet Diagnostics v5.0 will offer diagnostic capabilities for medium-duty platforms with the purchase of OEM specific software modules.
The medium-duty upgrade will begin with Ford E-Series and F-Series trucks (model years 2004 and newer) and there will additional releases in 2011 will cover GM, Dodge [Ram], Hino, Isuzu and Sprinter.
As an added enhancement, the company noted, the JPRO v5.0 software will “implement an easy-to-use internet-based activation and registration process.
