Old Dominion Freight Line has launched a web-based equipment locator on its website, aimed at helping customers locate containers available for street-turns or nearby units available to haul volume shipments

Old Dominion Freight Line has launched a web-based equipment locator on its website, aimed at helping customers locate containers available for street-turns or nearby units available to haul volume shipments, the company said.

According to Old Dominion, the “find available equipment” application will allow customers to enter desired fields including origin state, destination state and trailer size, listing available equipment en route between the origin and destination points.

In addition, the company announced the opening of an 18-door facility in Walpole, NH and the relocation of a 40-door facility in Pittston, PA. Brian Langeway was named manager of sales & service for the Walpole center.
