J.B. Hunt Transport Services has unveiled a new website that it said serves a public service for information and resources for anyone interested in the FMCSA’s Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA) safety initiative.
The site, www.WhatisCSA.com, offers an overview of the initiative, including its model for measurement, evaluation, and intervention. Information is tailored to drivers, carriers, private fleets, and shippers. Each segment will find dedicated information.
“At J.B. Hunt, safety is a core value,” said Greer Woodruff, senior vice president of corporate safety at J.B. Hunt. “We want WhatisCSA.com to be a valuable information tool for the industry that helps make our highways safer for everyone.”
The site also includes a “Scores” page, which allows users to search for the CSA scores of any carrier using a multitude of criteria, including DOT number, carrier name, city, state, zip code, or country. There is a “Resources” page with links to outside content and a CSA-related news feed, glossary of terms, social media links, and interactive features.
“WhatisCSA.com helps us collaborate and share CSA information throughout our entire enterprise and beyond,” Woodruff said. “We want to remain at the forefront of compliant carriers, and WhatisCSA.com reaffirms our commitment to be a leader in the area of transportation safety.”
