The desktop management software RoadBase has been updated to provide additional functionality, including the ability to export data directly into Excel and PDF formats.

The software, offered by Chevin Fleet Solutions, was first introduced 21 years ago. It is designed for medium-sized fleets. The updates are available at no extra cost.

“For larger, geographically dispersed fleet operators, there’s no doubt that web-based fleet management software incorporating the latest in technological advancements is the most appropriate tool for the job. But for smaller and less complex fleets, this level of investment is neither necessary nor cost effective,” said Ron Katz, senior vice president of North American sales.

RoadBase is a flexible windows-based system that adapts to a fleet’s unique terminology. Among the benefits it provides are the identification of exceptions such as contract overruns, reduces administrative burden for managing driver benefits, license renewals, etc, improves residuals, increases visibility of fleet-related running costs, and validates data on entry.
