Agreement with tank-truck carrier group covers 2014-15 meetings

The National Tank Truck Carriers (NTTC) has entered into an exclusive sponsorship agreement with Omnitracs, LLC, a provider of fleet management solutions, to develop a C-Level panel discussion series at its annual events in 2014 and 2015.

Those events include the Annual Conference & Exhibits Show, the Annual Safety Meeting, the Summer Membership & Board of Directors Meeting, the Winter Membership & Board of Directors Meeting and the seminar portion of Tank Truck Week.

With this agreement, both the NTTC and Omnitracs will “collaborate to create meaningful panel discussions consisting of domain experts and fleet participants exploring topics and best practices that pertain to the tank truck industry.”

The series’ inaugural panel, “Right Technology, Right Fit for Your Company,” will headline the NTTC’s 66th Annual Conference & Exhibits, to be held April 27-29 in Las Vegas.

“Since our founding in 1945, we have successfully represented tank truck interests and always seek to align our organization with like-minded technology providers that help us champion the needs of our members,” said NTTC chairman James Shaeffer.

“We are very pleased and grateful to extend our relationship with Omnitracs, a fleet management technology pioneer, to now encompass a formal partnership that will strengthen our educational content and equip our members with practical insights,” he added.

John Graham, CEO of Omnitracs, said the panel series sponsorship “underscores Omnitracs’ commitment to the NTTC and its members, and we are pleased to be a valuable resource in the educational content development as it helps them navigate issues related to technology, compliance, and driver recruitment and retention.”

The “Right Technology, Right Fit for Your Company” panel will be moderated by NTTC president Daniel Furth and panelists will include Chris Lofgren, CEO of Schneider National, Dennis Nash, CEO of The Kenan Advantage Group and Greg Hodgen, president & COO of Groendyke Transport, Inc.
