VDO RoadLog, the electronic log data recording software from Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket, has expanded its hours-of-service (HOS) compliance coverage to include Canada, Alaska and oilfield service.
The updates allow drivers and fleet managers to stay in compliance with HOS regulations during all portions of a trip, including those that cross international borders.
The expanded Canadian HOS regulations addresses the individual sets of compliance rules that apply to the North and South of the 60N latitude. Also included in the free software, is compliance with the special HOS regulations for vehicles servicing the oilfield industry.
VDO RoadLog is a plug-and-play solution for compliance reporting. RoadLog combines GPS data with input from the vehicle to create a digital log that the driver can either download or print out as needed.
VDO RoadLog features a flexible software design that can be continuously updates updated as HOS and electronic log regulations evolve.
