Platform Science achieves information security management certification

Having achieved this internationally recognized standard demonstrates Platform Science’s commitment to ensuring the security of its data.

Platform Science, a connected vehicle platform, achieved ISO 27001 certification for its information security management system supporting infrastructure and services used for  developing, operating, maintaining, and delivering Platform Science Connected Vehicle and Cloud portal applications within the U.S.  

“We are committed to ensuring the highest standards of data security, and achieving the ISO 27001 is another example of this,” Andrew Blocksidge, VP of information technology for Platform Science, said. “We are committed to continually inspiring the trust and confidence of our valued customers. Having third-party validations including the ISO 27001 and other certifications like SOC2 Type 2, for which Platform Science has been certified since 2020, is an important way to demonstrate our recognized best practices around data integrity, availability, and confidentiality.”

ISO 27001 is a globally recognized standard for the establishment and operation of an information security management system. To achieve the certification, a company must show it has a systematic and ongoing approach to managing sensitive company and customer information.
