Double Coin issues standard retread specs

Double Coin has released retread specifications for their Truck Bus Radial (TBR) casings that provide North American retreaders with certified retread specs, including buff radius and buffing width, for all Double Coin TBR products from 15” to 24.5” rim widths.

The data was compiled by Double Coin through consulting with several strategic retreaders in North America. Until now, retreaders established their own set of standards for Double Coin tires, which varied from dealer to dealer.

“We want to make sure that fleets and other end-users receive the optimum performance from our product,” said vp Aaron Murphy. “These manufacturer-approved specifications will assist the fleet in receiving this performance and also will lead to increased reliability for the retreader.”
