Todco’s UltraGrip high-traction walk ramp is composed of a reinforced composite fiberglass and thermoset resin structure that increases traction and is more durable, according to the company.
The corrosion resistant and fire retardant ramp is constructed with 60% open area to allow the pass-through of precipitation, sludge and other materials that could hinder traction while offering a 24-in. wide working area, Todco said. It is available in 12’, 14’ and 16’ lengths and includes a lockage storage compartment.
"With normal use, an UltraGrip Ramp will require little to no maintenance," said Scott Blackford, Todco vp of sales & marketing. "In tread longevity testing, the UltraGrip walking surface outperformed that of competitors' magnesium nodules, and the grating material is much easier on shoes and wheeled equipment than metal spikes."
