All-electric reefer

Isuzu Commercial Truck of America is offering customers an all-electric reefer unit powered by an AuraGen generator driven by the truck's engine. When the truck engine is off, an optional battery back-up system will keep the refrigeration unit running. The battery pack is automatically recharged when the truck engine is turned on. Made by Global Refrigeration Systems, the reefer unit weighs 465 lbs.
