Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC and Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake LLC have demonstrated their commercial vehicle safety and braking technologies to insurance provider Zurich and their customers.

Specifically, the Bendix companies showed off Bendix Adaptive Cruise Control, Bendix ADB22X air disc brakes and the Bendix Electronic Stability Program.

“While it is critical for fleets to be aware of and use such technologies, underwriters and others in the insurance industry also need to understand the potential value when assessing risk and premiums for fleets who adapt these in their operations,” said Jim York, associate vp of risk engineering technical services for Zurich North America Services LLC.
