FleetPride announced it has named Allan R. Dragone Jr., former Unisource Chief Executive Officer, as its new president and CEO, effective immediately.
FleetPride announced it has named Allan R. Dragone Jr., former Unisource Chief Executive Officer, as its new president and CEO, effective immediately. Dragone takes over for Donald W. Sturdivant, the company said.According to FleetPride, Dragone brings 35 years of experience in the distribution and retail industry to the position. He is the former COO of GCA Services and former CEO of Unisource. "I am very excited about this opportunity and look forward to working with the talented management team to build upon the Supply Chain, Operational, and Commercial excellence achieved thus far,” Dragone said. “FleetPride is focused on the right priorities and has a strong foundation for future growth.""The FleetPride Board sincerely thanks Mr. Sturdivant for serving as a Board member and stepping in as CEO over the past year," said Nathan Wright, TPG Partner and lead director. "Under his leadership, the company has built commercial momentum, driven operational and functional transformation, and optimized its cost position. These essential improvements have prepared FleetPride for its next phase of growth."Sturdivant will continue to serve on the board through the transition process, the company added.
