The annual Rush Truck Centers (RTC) Technician Skills Rodeo pitted 150 semi-finalists against one another across 19 competition categories encompassing parts management, medium-duty diagnostics and repair, heavy-duty diagnostics and repair, body repair and painting, plus several "specialty" divisions devoted to school bus, refuse, and natural gas applications. Some 22 technicians made it to the final round, competing for just over $200,000 worth of cash bonuses and prizes.
