Touring Goodyear's San Angelo Proving Grounds Part 1

Spread out across 7,250 acres or 11.25 square miles of West Texas, the San Angelo Proving Grounds (SAPG) is the largest of six such global facilities Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. puts to work testing its tires. Founded in 1944, SAPG tests about 23,000 tires a year over its 58 miles of roads using a fleet of 300-plus vehicles.
